I was enjoying the recipes, until I reached the kale, and fried potatoes. You lost me on that one. Cooked kale, has a sweet taste to it. In my opinion. In my old decrepit mind, certain foods should not have sweetness to them. Potatoes, greens, and cornbread are top on my list. I don’t eat sweet potatoes, for this very reason. Being from the south, my own family thought I was strange. The two most widely known likes, in the south are watermelon, and sweet tea. Both of which, I avoid, at all cost. I drink only unsweetened tea, and coffee. I can’t even smell watermelon, without getting sick. Oh, well. The other recipes , I’m looking forward to making.

    1. Lol, that surprises me! I don’t think kale is sweet at all, it’s bitter to me. And I LOVE sweet potatoes, I would eat them everyday if I could! Although I agree with you about watermelon and sweet tea. I hate watermelon. Hot tea with honey is okay, but not iced.
