Homemade Brownie Recipe

Here’s another great, easy recipe I love! Enjoy! (More on the sweet side of things!)

Homemade Brownie Recipe

-1 Cup Sugar
-1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
-1/3 Cup Cocoa
-1/4 tsp. Salt
-1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
-2 Eggs
-1/2 Cup Veggie Oil
-1-2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
-1/2 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips

1) Mix all ingredients (except chips) and pour into well greased 9″ pie plate.

2) Sprinkle Chocolate chips on top.

3) Bake at 350F for 20-25mins or until a toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean.

Note: Make a double batch for 13×9 baking pans.

This recipe is not as sweet a store bought brownies. I, personally, like them better for that reason. They fulfill my chocolate/sugar cravings without being so sweet that I can hardly stand them. These are by no means low-calorie, but the are quite delicious and they don’t have all the junk in them that the store bought ones do. Also, if you add up all the ingredients, it’s a ton cheaper to make them homemade. (Don’t count the oil and eggs because you have to add that to the store bought ones as well).

Sounds good. I always decrease the sugar in recipes. They always call for way more than they need. Have you tried doing brownies with black beans? Sounds disgusting but it works! Recipes are all over the google thing so I won’t waste space.

    1. I’ve never tried it before. I will have to look it up though, that’s interesting!
